The World's Most Expensive Luxury Gifts For Your Pets

We all love to spoil our best four legged friends. Birthdays, Christmas, Just Because!  Whilst perusing for Easter gift ideas we came across some ultra luxe pet accessories that we just needed to share with you. From diamonds to designer togs, these are some of the World’s Most Expensive Gifts for Pets, fit for even the most pampered doggy and feline! (Be prepared though; the 000’s on these price tags are no pun!)   Dog & Cat Bowl by Versace We thought we’d ease you into our luxe shopping list gently, with this beautiful pet bowl for cats or dogs from Versace. At a mere £569, it’s one of the less expensive items on our list, but still super exclusive. Your pet will dine in splendour with this bowl. One of several different designs from the fashion house, we particularly liked this style for its elegant, timeless design. Whose cat or dog wouldn’t like to eat or drink from this?!   Louis Vuitton Dog Carrier Travelling in style is a must for any pampered pup and what better way than in Louis Vuitton’s Dog Carrier. A trip to the vet, or journey on holiday, will never be the same again with this beautiful pet carrier. You may wish to start saving now though; LV’s dog carriers start at £1,740 for the 40cm size.   Ballgown for your Dog For the ultimate in luxury doggy fashion, this ballgown, designed and handmade by the team at Furdrobe, is crafted from silk and embellished with thousands of Swarovski crystals. Your dog will definitely be the belle of the ball at your Easter get-together wearing this. At £40,000, the price tag is certainly not for the faint of heart!   Diamond Necklace Dog Collar They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend and our dogs only deserve the best don’t they?! Well these luxury dog collars certainly fit that philosophy. The 52 carat, Amour Amour collar is encrusted with 1,600 diamonds and, at a staggering $3.2 million dollars, is the most expensive dog collar in the world. Of course there are slightly less extravagant versions and by that we mean you can take one zero off the price tag; the diamond collar range starts at £150,000. Still a little rich for our tastes (and bank balance) we think!   These are just a few of the more elaborate gifts we have found for pets. We also came across a mink fur jacket for dogs (don’t dogs have fur of their own?) and a canine fashion collection by Roberto Cavalli. If like us, you don’t appear in the Forbes Rich list you may like to head over to our L&L Shop. We have plenty of lovely goodies that won’t raise the brow of your bank manager, and we know will delight your canine friends all the same! Don’t forget we love to hear from you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch; call us, LiveChat us, send us an e-mail. Alternatively, chat to us or send us a photo over on our Social Media pages!

The Best Cat Toys for Felines

Cats are curious, playful, and intelligent creatures who need regular stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Whether you have a lively kitten or a relaxed indoor cat, having the right toys is essential to keep them entertained and mentally engaged. In this guide, we’ll explore some of the best cat toys that will keep your feline friend pouncing, chasing, and having the time of their lives. Why Are Cat Toys Important? Toys do more than just entertain your cat—they provide essential mental and physical stimulation. Playtime helps cats: Exercise and stay fit – Especially for indoor cats who may not get much natural movement. Satisfy hunting instincts – Cats have a natural predatory drive, and toys help satisfy their urge to chase and pounce. Prevent boredom – Keeping your cat entertained can help prevent unwanted behaviours such as scratching furniture or excessive meowing. Bond with their owners – Playing with your cat helps strengthen your bond and provide much-needed interaction. Now that we understand why toys are important, let’s dive into the different types and their benefits. Teasers and Wand Toys Teasers and wand toys are some of the best interactive cat toys available. These toys usually consist of a long stick with feathers, ribbons, or small plushies attached to the end. They’re perfect for engaging your cat in an exciting game of chase. We love the KONG Cat Wubba Teaser Boa, it has a rattle and a crinkle sound, as well as being infused with premium North American catnip so it is sure to keep even the most curious of cats entertained. Why your cat will love them: Encourages natural hunting behaviour. Provides great exercise and agility training. Offers an excellent opportunity for interactive playtime with you. Tip: Opt for teaser toys with bells or crinkle sounds to grab your cat’s attention even more. Laser Pointers Laser pointers are an all-time favourite when it comes to best toys for indoor cats. They offer endless fun as your cat tries to chase the elusive red dot. Why your cat will love them: Provides a great cardio workout. Keeps them mentally sharp and focused. Helps burn off extra energy, especially in kittens. Safety note: Always ensure you end playtime with a physical toy your cat can catch to prevent frustration. Interactive Cat Toys When it comes to mental stimulation only the best interactive cat toys will do. These toys often feature elements that move unpredictably, such as automated spinning balls, puzzle toys, and treat dispensers. We love the Catit Senses Circuits for keeping our cats entertained, the modular design allows you to add and swap different elements of the circuit to keep your cat stimulated and entertained. Why your cat will love them: Keeps them mentally stimulated and engaged. Helps with problem-solving skills. Provides independent playtime when you're not around. Interactive toys are perfect for cats who need a little extra mental challenge to keep boredom at bay. Balls and Rolling Toys Simple yet effective, balls and rolling toys are a fantastic addition to your cat’s toy collection. Whether they’re filled with catnip or have jingling bells inside, they offer hours of entertainment. Why your cat will love them: Encourages active play and exercise. Provides an outlet for their hunting instincts. Easy to chase and bat around the house. If you're looking for the best kitten toys, lightweight balls that are easy to carry and swat are ideal. The Best Catnip Toys Catnip toys are an absolute delight for most cats. Infused with the irresistible scent of catnip, these toys can provide hours of playful fun and relaxation. Why your cat will love them: Encourages playful behaviour and excitement. Helps with stress relief and relaxation. Ideal for lazy afternoons when your cat needs a boost of energy. If you're searching for the best catnip toys, look for plush toys filled with high-quality, organic catnip for a lasting effect. • Cat Tracking: How to Keep an Eye on Your Cat

Cat Tracking: How to Keep an Eye on Your Cat

Cats are natural explorers. Whether they're sneaking through the garden hedge or climbing a neighbour's tree, their adventurous spirit often leaves us wondering, "Where on earth have they gone now?" This is where cat tracking comes to the rescue! With the right tools, you can keep tabs on your feline friend and enjoy peace of mind.In this guide, we'll explore everything you need to know about tracking your cat, including the best cat trackers, how to use a cat tracking collar, and why investing in the best pet tracking device can be a game-changer for UK cat owners. Why Track Your Cat? Cats may be independent, but they can still get into sticky situations. Here are a few reasons why using a tracker on your cat can be beneficial: Safety First: Whether your cat roams in urban or rural areas, a cat tracker ensures you can find them quickly if they stray too far. This is especially important in high-traffic or wildlife-dense areas. Health Monitoring: Some advanced trackers provide activity data, helping you monitor your cat's exercise levels and overall well-being. Peace of Mind: Knowing your cat’s whereabouts can reduce the anxiety that comes with their unpredictable nature. Types of Cat Trackers When it comes to finding the best cat tracker for your furry friend, you have several options to choose from: GPS Trackers: Perfect for outdoor cats, GPS trackers use satellite technology to provide real-time location updates. They’re among the best cat GPS options and offer wide coverage. Radio Frequency Trackers: These trackers are ideal for short-range tracking, often used to find cats hiding nearby. They’re a great choice for indoor cats who occasionally escape. Bluetooth Trackers: Best for budget-conscious owners, Bluetooth trackers work well for limited ranges but rely on being within proximity. When selecting a tracker, think about your cat's habits and your specific needs to find the best cat tracker collar UK residents trust. Features to Look for in the Best Cat Tracker Not all trackers are created equal. To ensure you’re choosing the best pet tracking device for your cat, consider these features: Lightweight Design: Cats are agile and don’t like bulky accessories. Opt for a lightweight tracker that doesn’t hinder their movement. Long Battery Life: A tracker isn’t much use if it runs out of battery quickly. Look for devices with long-lasting power. Real-Time Updates: For outdoor adventurers, real-time tracking is essential. This allows you to see their exact location instantly. Durability: Cats are notorious for squeezing into tight spots and braving the elements. Choose a tracker that’s waterproof and built to withstand their antics. Tips for Using a Cat Tracker Effectively Once you’ve chosen the best cat tracker, here are some tips to get the most out of it: Attach It Securely: Use a well-fitted, comfortable collar designed for cats. Make sure the tracker is snug but not too tight. Train Your Cat: Let your cat wear the tracker around the house first to get used to the weight and feel. Set Safe Zones: Many GPS trackers allow you to set geofencing boundaries. You’ll get an alert if your cat ventures outside these zones. Check Regularly: Ensure the device is charged and securely attached to their collar. Regular maintenance will keep the tracker functioning optimally. How to Choose the Right Cat Tracking Collar Choosing the right cat tracking collar is just as important as the tracker itself. Here’s what to keep in mind: Breakaway Safety: Look for collars with breakaway features to prevent choking hazards if the collar gets snagged. Adjustable Fit: An adjustable collar ensures your cat stays comfortable as they grow or gain weight. Personalisation: Adding your cat’s name and your contact details to the collar can be an added safety measure. Final Thoughts Tracking your cat doesn’t just keep them safe—it gives you peace of mind and helps you better understand their behaviour. Whether you’re looking for the best cat GPS, a reliable cat finder collar, or the best cat tracker collar UK pet owners trust, there’s a solution for every feline and owner.
