Cat Tracking: How to Keep an Eye on Your Cat

Cats are natural explorers. Whether they're sneaking through the garden hedge or climbing a neighbour's tree, their adventurous spirit often leaves us wondering, "Where on earth have they gone now?" This is where cat tracking comes to the rescue! With the right tools, you can keep tabs on your feline friend and enjoy peace of mind.In this guide, we'll explore everything you need to know about tracking your cat, including the best cat trackers, how to use a cat tracking collar, and why investing in the best pet tracking device can be a game-changer for UK cat owners. Why Track Your Cat? Cats may be independent, but they can still get into sticky situations. Here are a few reasons why using a tracker on your cat can be beneficial: Safety First: Whether your cat roams in urban or rural areas, a cat tracker ensures you can find them quickly if they stray too far. This is especially important in high-traffic or wildlife-dense areas. Health Monitoring: Some advanced trackers provide activity data, helping you monitor your cat's exercise levels and overall well-being. Peace of Mind: Knowing your cat’s whereabouts can reduce the anxiety that comes with their unpredictable nature. Types of Cat Trackers When it comes to finding the best cat tracker for your furry friend, you have several options to choose from: GPS Trackers: Perfect for outdoor cats, GPS trackers use satellite technology to provide real-time location updates. They’re among the best cat GPS options and offer wide coverage. Radio Frequency Trackers: These trackers are ideal for short-range tracking, often used to find cats hiding nearby. They’re a great choice for indoor cats who occasionally escape. Bluetooth Trackers: Best for budget-conscious owners, Bluetooth trackers work well for limited ranges but rely on being within proximity. When selecting a tracker, think about your cat's habits and your specific needs to find the best cat tracker collar UK residents trust. Features to Look for in the Best Cat Tracker Not all trackers are created equal. To ensure you’re choosing the best pet tracking device for your cat, consider these features: Lightweight Design: Cats are agile and don’t like bulky accessories. Opt for a lightweight tracker that doesn’t hinder their movement. Long Battery Life: A tracker isn’t much use if it runs out of battery quickly. Look for devices with long-lasting power. Real-Time Updates: For outdoor adventurers, real-time tracking is essential. This allows you to see their exact location instantly. Durability: Cats are notorious for squeezing into tight spots and braving the elements. Choose a tracker that’s waterproof and built to withstand their antics. Tips for Using a Cat Tracker Effectively Once you’ve chosen the best cat tracker, here are some tips to get the most out of it: Attach It Securely: Use a well-fitted, comfortable collar designed for cats. Make sure the tracker is snug but not too tight. Train Your Cat: Let your cat wear the tracker around the house first to get used to the weight and feel. Set Safe Zones: Many GPS trackers allow you to set geofencing boundaries. You’ll get an alert if your cat ventures outside these zones. Check Regularly: Ensure the device is charged and securely attached to their collar. Regular maintenance will keep the tracker functioning optimally. How to Choose the Right Cat Tracking Collar Choosing the right cat tracking collar is just as important as the tracker itself. Here’s what to keep in mind: Breakaway Safety: Look for collars with breakaway features to prevent choking hazards if the collar gets snagged. Adjustable Fit: An adjustable collar ensures your cat stays comfortable as they grow or gain weight. Personalisation: Adding your cat’s name and your contact details to the collar can be an added safety measure. Final Thoughts Tracking your cat doesn’t just keep them safe—it gives you peace of mind and helps you better understand their behaviour. Whether you’re looking for the best cat GPS, a reliable cat finder collar, or the best cat tracker collar UK pet owners trust, there’s a solution for every feline and owner. Choosing the Best Cat Tree for Your Large Cat

If you share your home with a larger breed cat—such as a Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Siberian, Chartreux, Savannah, or Bengal—you already know these majestic felines need extra space, sturdy furnishings, and plenty of stimulation to stay happy. One of the best ways to keep your big cat active and content is to invest in a high-quality cat tree built especially for larger breeds. In this guide, we’ll help you choose the best cat tree for large cats, with practical tips and product recommendations that will suit the biggest and most playful of kitties. Why Large Cats Need a Specially Designed Cat Tree Cat trees are not just simple play structures; they’re multi-level territories that help cats stay mentally stimulated and physically fit. However, when it comes to larger breeds like Maine Coons or Ragdolls, a standard cat tree may not be sturdy or spacious enough to accommodate their size. Here’s why larger cats require a specific design: Stability: A lightweight or flimsy cat tree can wobble or even topple when a big cat jumps onto it. This can be both frightening and dangerous, so choosing a stable frame is crucial. Spacious Platforms: Whether you have a Ragdoll cat tree, Siberian cat tree, or a Chartreux cat tree, its platforms and perches should be wide enough to comfortably support your cat’s body. Durable Materials: Large cats tend to scratch more vigorously. A cat tower for Maine Coon or a cat tower for Ragdolls should feature robust scratching posts made from heavy-duty sisal or similar materials. Weight Support: Larger cat trees often come with reinforced bases and thicker poles to support the extra weight of a Maine Coon or a Bengal. Key Considerations for Choosing the Best Cat Tree for Large Cats 1. Size & Height Large cats like Maine Coons or Bengals appreciate having a high vantage point to observe their surroundings. Look for a tall Maine Coon cat tower or Bengal cat climbing tree that provides multiple levels and perches. The extra height will also encourage your cat to climb and explore—excellent for keeping them mentally stimulated. 2. Sturdy Construction Pay close attention to the quality of the materials. Wooden frames or premium engineered wood are ideal for supporting bigger cats. Thick posts wrapped in sisal rope can serve as durable scratching surfaces. 3. Comfortable Sleeping Spots Large breeds like Ragdolls and Siberians are known for their laid-back, affectionate personalities—they adore curling up for nap time. A cat tree for ragdolls should include spacious hammocks or roomy platforms where your cat can stretch out and relax. Look for plush, removable cushions that can be easily washed. 4. Multiple Perches & Hideouts Having various platforms, cubbies, and hideaways allows your cat to choose different spots to lounge or hide. This variety is particularly important for naturally curious breeds like Savannahs and Bengals. A savannah cat tree or cat tree for bengal cats with tunnels, hidey-holes, and multiple resting places will keep them engaged and entertained. 5. Aesthetic & Home Décor A cat tree doesn’t have to look out of place in your home. Many modern designs feature neutral colours and sleek lines that fit seamlessly with your décor. Whether you need a chartreux cat tower or a cat tower for bengal, you’ll find options that are both stylish and functional. Recommended Cat Trees for Large Breeds At Lords & Labradors, we offer a curated selection of cat trees ideal for larger felines. Here are some ranges worth exploring: Petrebels Cat Trees are designed with durability and comfort in mind. Each tower is crafted to provide a stable and secure environment, making them some of the best cat trees for large cats. From tall towers to more compact designs, they feature thick scratching posts and plush sleeping spots. If you’re looking for a cat tower for maine coon or a cat tower for ragdolls, Petrebels has options that cater to various preferences: Robust Frames: Perfect for hefty breeds like Maine Coons and Bengals. Plush Platforms: Provides comfortable resting spots for Ragdolls and Chartreux. Modern Aesthetics: Stylish designs that blend seamlessly with contemporary homes. The Helsinki Cat Trees are another fantastic option, combining functionality with luxury. They are particularly suitable if you have a large cat thanks to their stable build and chic, Scandinavian-inspired design. Highlights of the Helsinki range include: Minimalist Look: Sleek, modern lines that complement a variety of interior styles. Spacious Lounging Areas: Large platforms and hammocks for cats that love to lounge. Quality Materials: Heavy-duty sisal scratching posts and sturdy wooden frames designed to withstand the demands of larger breeds. Breed-Specific Suggestions When shopping for the perfect cat tower, keep your cat’s breed traits in mind. Here are some examples: Maine Coon: Look for extra height and super-sturdy posts. A maine coon cat tower or cat tower maine coon with reinforced bases is ideal. Ragdolls: Because they love to sprawl and relax, a cat tree for ragdolls or ragdoll cat tree should include wide perches or hammock beds. Siberians: Known for their playful nature and athletic builds, a siberian cat tree should have multiple levels for climbing and exploration. Chartreux: These intelligent and gentle cats appreciate a chartreux cat tower with ample space to lounge and observe. Look for covered hideouts where they can nap peacefully. Savannah: High energy and inquisitive, a savannah cat tree should be tall and sturdy, with plenty of vertical space to climb. Bengals: Extremely active and agile, Bengals need a robust bengal cat climbing tree. Multiple perches, scratching areas, and interactive toys can keep them entertained and help burn off energy. A cat tower for bengal or cat trees for bengals with tall platforms are perfect for their athletic prowess. Tips for Introducing Your Cat to a New Tree Choose the Right Spot: Place the cat tree in a location where your cat feels safe—perhaps near a window for some bird-watching. Use Treats & Toys: Encourage your cat to explore by scattering treats or placing a favourite toy on one of the platforms. Positive Reinforcement: Reward your cat with praise or a treat whenever they use the new tree, helping them form a positive association. Safety First: Always ensure the cat tree is stable. If needed, anchor it to a wall for extra support, especially if your cat is extremely active. Dog Walking: Harness or Collar?
27.05.24 May 27, 2024 FAQs Featured

Dog Walking: Harness or Collar?

A walk is one of your dog’s favourites parts of the day, however, choosing the right equipment is crucial for a comfortable and safe experience. The primary debate for many dog owners is whether to use a harness or a collar. Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the best choice often depends on your dog’s breed, size, health, and behaviour. In this article, our Pet Experts explore the differences between harnesses and collars to help you make an informed decision. Harness vs Collar: What’s the Difference? A harness is designed to distribute pressure evenly across a dog’s chest and back, while a collar sits around the neck. This fundamental difference in design means that each has distinct impacts on your dog’s comfort and health. Dog Harnesses Advantages of Using a Harness Better Control: Harnesses provide more control, especially for larger or more energetic dogs. They are ideal for training and managing dogs that tend to pull on the lead. Reduced Risk of Injury: By distributing pressure across the chest, a harness reduces the risk of neck injuries. This is particularly important for breeds prone to respiratory problems or those with a delicate trachea, such as Pugs or Yorkshire Terriers. Prevents Escaping: A well-fitted harness can prevent dogs from slipping out, which is a common issue with collars. This added security is beneficial for dogs that are known escape artists. Versatility: Many harnesses come with additional features like handles for extra control, or reflective strips for better visibility during nighttime walks. Disadvantages of Using a Harness Complexity: Harnesses can be more complicated to put on and take off compared to collars. This can be a hassle for both the dog and the owner if the dog is particularly fidgety Dislike: Not all dog’s like the sensation of having a harness put over their head, however getting them used to a harness early can help with this. Comfort: If not properly fitted, a harness can cause chafing or discomfort. It's essential to ensure that the harness is the right size and adjusted correctly. Limited Styles: While harnesses come in various designs, they may not offer the same stylish options as collars, which can be a consideration for those who like their pets to make a fashion statement. Our Top 3 Harnesses Here at Lords & Labradors we put a lot of time into sourcing the best walking accessories for your pup. We want them to be both practical and stylish, here are our top 3 harnesses. Ruffwear Front Range Harness: The Ruffwear Front Range Harness allows you to enjoy your outdoor adventures with your favourite canine companion wherever you're going. It has 4 points of adjustment allowing full range of motion. The Front Range harness also has clips on both the front and back allowing you more control over your dog and helps to distribute any pressure more evenly when your dog pulls. Cocopup NAKD Harness: The Cocopup Nakd Harness fuses style and practicality together. It comes in seven stylish colours and has matching collars and leads available. With adjustable neck and chest straps, a safety locking feature, and 4 sizes to choose from, you can be sure to find the perfect fit for your pup. The clasps also have a safety locking feature which is great for any pups who have a habit of escaping their harness. Barbour Travel and Exercise Harness: The Barbour Travel & Exercise Dog Harness seamlessly blends comfort and safety, making it an ideal choice for both exercise and travel. Crafted by Barbour, this harness features a padded chest and adjustable straps to ensure a secure and comfortable fit for your dog. The reflective piping enhances visibility during nighttime walks, providing peace of mind, while the integrated car seatbelt loop keeps your pup secure during car journeys. The harness also features Barbour's iconic tartan pattern which you can match to your own Barbour quilted jacket, so you and your pup can be the most stylish pair in the park. Dog Collars Advantages of Using a Collar Simplicity: Collars are straightforward to put on and take off, making them convenient for daily use. Identification: Collars can hold ID tags, making it easier to identify your dog if they get lost. Some harnesses have this feature, but collars are typically more reliable for this purpose. Training: Collars can be useful for training purposes, particularly for dogs that respond well to quick corrections. Variety: Collars come in a wide range of styles, colours, and materials, allowing for personalisation and fashion-forward choices. Disadvantages of Using a Collar Risk of Injury: Collars can cause neck injuries, especially if the dog pulls hard or if sudden pressure is applied. This is a significant concern for dogs with delicate necks or those prone to respiratory issues. Limited Control: Collars do not provide the same level of control as harnesses, making them less effective for managing stronger dogs who like to pull. Choking Hazard: Dogs that pull on the lead can experience choking or discomfort with collars, potentially leading to negative associations with walking. Our Top 3 Collars Lords & Labradors Essentials Collars: Our Essentials Twill and Herdwick collars are the perfect lightweight collar. They are available in 7 sizes and are handcrafted in Italy. Featuring sturdy silver hardware and leather accents, these collars are a durable choice for your pup. Whether you pick the bobbly woven texture of Herdwick or the lovely linen texture of Twill, your dog will be stepping out in style with our Essentials collars. Lords & Labradors Italian Padded Leather Collars: Our padded leather collars are consciously hand crafted in Italy, using the finest Italian leather. They come in six sizes and have a soft padding round the inside of the collar making them super comfy for your dog. These are a great choice, paired with our leads it’s sure to look stylish Dogs & Horses Soft Rolled Leather Collar: Made from a butter soft leather, these rolled collars are a great choice for long haired dogs as the rolled shape stops the hair from matting. These collars are made using heritage craftsmanship here in England and are available in a large range of both sizes and colours. Collar or Harness for Dog Walking: Making the Right Choice When deciding between a dog harness vs collar, consider your dog’s specific needs and behaviours. Here are some factors to keep in mind: Breed and Size: Larger breeds or those with respiratory issues may benefit more from a harness. Smaller breeds with less pulling power may do well with a collar. Health Conditions: Dogs with neck or spinal issues should avoid collars to prevent further injury. A harness can provide a safer option. Training Needs: If your dog is still learning lead manners, a harness can offer better control and reduce the risk of injury. For well-trained dogs, a collar may suffice. Activity Level: Active dogs that participate in sports or outdoor adventures may need the added security and control of a harness. Is a Harness Better Than a Collar? Ultimately, whether a harness or collar is better depends on your dog. For most dog owners, a harness is often the more practical choice, particularly for walks and outdoor activities. However, collars remain a convenient and stylish option for everyday use, especially when fitted with ID tags for quick identification, and some dogs do walk better with a collar rather than a harness. This is one of them things that has no right answer, it will ultimately come down to what suits your lifestyle and which your dog walks better with. In conclusion, both harnesses and collars have their place in a dog’s wardrobe. By understanding the pros and cons of each, you can make an informed decision that best suits your dog's needs and lifestyle. Whether you choose a harness or collar, the most important factor is ensuring that your dog is comfortable, safe, and happy during your walks together. Here at Lords & Labradors we have a wide range of designer walking accessories, with both luxurious and practical options to suit every dog’s unique needs. Shop our collection here.

How Often Should You Replace Your Dog’s Bed?
28.02.24 February 28, 2024 FAQs Featured

How Often Should You Replace Your Dog’s Bed?

Did you know dogs spend 12 to 14 hours a day sleeping? That's a lot of time in bed so it's no surprise that their bed might be looking a little worse for wear. Dogs are creatures of comfort so making sure they have a a clean and supportive bed is essential for their overall well-being. In this guide, our Pet Experts explore the signs that indicate it's time to change your dog's bed and share expert tips on how to care for your canine's cherished sleeping spot. How Often Should You Replace Your Dog’s Bed? Determining how often to replace your dog's bed depends on several factors including the quality of the bed, your dog's size and activity level, and any specific health considerations. As a general guideline, it's advisable to replace your dog's bed every 1 to 3 years, or sooner if signs of wear and tear become noticeable. Signs It's Time to Change Your Dog's Bed: Visible Wear and Tear: Over time, your dog's bed may start showing signs of wear and tear, such as flattened cushions, lumps, or torn fabric. If you notice any significant damage, it's a clear indication that it's time to consider a replacement. Lingering Odours: Despite regular cleaning, dog beds can accumulate odours over time, especially if your furry friend enjoys outdoor adventures or has accidents indoors. Lingering smells that persist even after washing could signal the need for a new bed. Loss of Support: Just like humans, dogs require proper support for their joints and muscles, especially as they age or if they have existing health conditions. If your dog's bed no longer provides adequate support or has become too soft, it's time to invest in a new one to ensure their comfort and well-being. It might be worth investing in an orthopaedic dog bed if your dog’s breed is prone to joint issues. Allergies and Skin Irritations: Dogs can develop allergies or skin irritations from prolonged exposure to dust mites, pet dander, or other allergens that accumulate in their beds over time. If you notice your dog scratching more than usual or experiencing skin issues, a new bed with hypoallergenic materials may offer relief. Preference for Alternative Sleeping Spots: Dogs are creatures of habit, and if you notice your furry friend opting for alternative sleeping spots around the house instead of their bed, it could indicate that they're no longer comfortable or satisfied with their current sleeping arrangements. It’s worth looking at how your dog likes to sleep so you can get the best bed shape to suit their sleeping style, our Information Hub has a guide on how to choose the perfect dog bed for your dog. Top Ways to Care for Your Dog's Bed: Regular Washing: Establish a routine for washing your dog's bed to remove dirt, hair, and odour-causing bacteria. Most of our Lords & Labradors dog beds are machine washable, we have a handy guide on how to wash your dog’s bed here. Use a Removable Cover: Opt for dog beds with removable, machine-washable covers for easy cleaning. Having a spare cover on hand allows you to swap them out while one is being laundered, ensuring your pup always has a fresh and clean place to sleep. We also sell bamboo bed covers which are great for popping over your dog’s bed to help keep them clean especially after a muddy dog walk, they will act as an additional layer of defence against moisture and stains, extending the life of the bed! Vacuum and Spot Clean: In between washings, use a handheld vacuum or lint roller to remove hair and debris from the surface of the bed. Spot clean any stains or spills promptly to prevent them from setting into the fabric. Rotate and Fluff: Just like flipping a mattress, periodically rotate your dog's bed to distribute wear evenly and prevent premature sagging. Fluffing the bed's filling helps maintain its loft and support over time. Sun and Air Dry: On sunny days, take advantage of natural sunlight by airing out your dog's bed outdoors. Sunlight helps eliminate odours and kills bacteria, leaving the bed feeling fresh and revitalised. Inspect Regularly: Take time to inspect your dog's bed for any signs of damage, loose seams, or worn-out stuffing. Promptly address any issues to prevent further deterioration and ensure your pup's safety and comfort. By recognising the signs that it's time to change your dog's bed and implementing proper care and maintenance techniques, you can provide your furry friend with a clean, comfortable, and supportive sleeping environment. Remember, a happy and well-rested pup makes for a happier pet parent too! If you’re looking to upgrade your dog’s bed why not check out our collection of luxury dog beds? As dog owners, we know that keeping our furry friends occupied and engaged is essential for their mental stimulation and overall well-being. One of the most effective ways to keep dogs entertained and mentally stimulated is through the use of treats and toys designed specifically to captivate their attention. Whether you have an energetic puppy or an adult dog with a penchant for play, finding the right treats and toys can make a world of difference. Best Dog Treats to Keep Them Busy: Finding the Perfect Fit When it comes to choosing the best treats to keep dogs busy, it's crucial to consider their preferences, age, size, and chewing habits. Not all treats or toys are suitable for every dog, so here’s a breakdown of the top options: 1. Treat Dispensing Toys Treat-dispensing toys are a fantastic way to keep your dog engaged for extended periods. Products like KONG Classic or KONG wobbler can be filled with treats, offering mental stimulation as they work to retrieve the hidden goodies. 2. Long-Lasting Chews For dogs with powerful jaws or an insatiable urge to chew, long-lasting chews like natural treats, yak cheese chews, or antlers can be a great choice. These treats not only keep them occupied but also help in maintaining dental health. Be careful when choosing a long-lasting dog chew to check that it doesn’t contain rawhide, commonly used in a lot of long-lasting dog chews rawhide is actually really difficult for your dog’s stomach to breakdown and can cause all sorts issues. A great alternative to rawhide is the Earth Animal No Hide chews, they come in a range of flavours and are long-lasting so are perfect for keeping your pup busy. 3. Puzzle Treat Toys Puzzle toys, such as the Nina Ottosson interactive puzzles or Smart Choice S Shaped Puzzle, challenge dogs to solve puzzles to access treats. These toys provide mental stimulation, preventing boredom and promoting problem-solving skills. 4. Frozen Treats During warmer months, frozen treats like frozen bananas or ice cubes made with chicken broth can offer a refreshing way to keep your pup entertained and cool. You can even try freezing some wet food in their KONG classic as a fun way to give your dog their food whilst keeping them busy. Best Chew Toys and Treats for Puppies Puppies, with their boundless energy and curiosity, require specific treats and toys to keep them occupied: 1. Puppy-Safe Chew Toys Opt for durable and safe chew toys specifically designed for puppies. Toys such as the KONG Puppy Teething Stick or the Tuffs Puppy Pastel Fetch & Chew Bar are excellent choices for keeping teething puppies busy as they cater to teething puppies' needs. 2. Soft Treats for Training Soft, small treats are ideal for training purposes with puppies. Treats like The Innocent Hound Puppy Training Treats can be used during training sessions to keep them engaged and motivated. For something longer lasting for your pup why not try some natural treats to keep them busy? Choosing the right treats and toys for your furry companion can significantly impact their mental and physical well-being. Experimenting with different options and observing your dog's preferences will help you discover the best treats and toys to keep them entertained and engaged for hours. Remember, supervision is crucial, especially with new toys or treats, to ensure they are safe and suitable for your dog's individual needs. By investing in the best dog treats and toys that keep them busy, you’re not only providing entertainment but also contributing to their overall happiness and health. Whether it's a puzzle toy to challenge their mind or a long-lasting chew to satisfy their natural instincts, the best treats and toys are those that bring joy and keep tails wagging.

How to Wash Dog Blankets Without a Washing Machine

We all know how much our furry companions love their cosy blankets. However, keeping these items clean can be a bit challenging, especially if you don't have access to a washing machine. But fear not, for in this guide, we will share expert tips on how to clean your dog's blankets effectively without the use of a washing machine. Say goodbye to stubborn pet odours and dirt! 1. Gather Your Supplies Before diving into the cleaning process, it's essential to gather all the necessary supplies. Here's what you'll need: Mild Detergent: Opt for a gentle, pet-safe detergent to avoid any skin irritations. Bathtub or Large Basin: You'll need a spacious container to soak and rinse the dog blankets and bed cover. Vacuum: A vacuum is great for helping you to remove any debris from your pet's blanket, we'd recommend using an upholstery attachment if you have one! Scrub Brush: A soft-bristle brush will help you remove dirt and pet hair effectively. Towels: Have some clean towels on hand for drying the items after washing. Sunlight: Natural sunlight acts as a powerful disinfectant and helps eliminate odours. 2. Shake and Vacuum Start by taking your dog's blankets outdoors, if possible. Shake and brush to remove loose dirt, fur, and debris. Consider using a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to ensure a thorough cleaning. 3. Pre-Treat Stains Inspect the blankets for any stubborn stains or odorous spots. Apply a small amount of mild detergent directly to these areas and gently scrub with a brush. Allow the detergent to sit for a few minutes to penetrate the stains. 4. Soak in a Bathtub Fill your bathtub or a large basin with lukewarm water. Add a small amount of pet-safe detergent and agitate the water to create suds. Submerge the blankets ensuring they are fully soaked. Let them soak for 15-20 minutes to loosen dirt and odours. 5. Hand Washing After soaking, use your hands to gently agitate the blankets in the soapy water. Pay extra attention to stained areas and spots with lingering odours. Continue this process for a few minutes. 6. Rinse Thoroughly Drain the soapy water and refill the bathtub with clean, lukewarm water. Rinse the blankets thoroughly, ensuring no detergent residue remains. You may need to repeat this step a few times until the water runs clear. 7. Squeeze Excess Water Carefully squeeze out excess water from the blankets. Avoid wringing them, as this can damage the fabric and distort their shape. 8. Drying in the Sun Place the wet items outside in direct sunlight to dry. Sunlight is not only a natural disinfectant but also an excellent deodoriser. Allow the blankets to dry completely. This may take several hours, so be patient. 9. Fluff and Fold Once your dog's blankets are completely dry, fluff them up by shaking and gently patting. Fold them neatly and place them back in your pet's favourite spot.Cleaning your dog's blankets without a washing machine may require a bit of extra effort, but it's entirely doable with the right approach. By following these expert tips and using pet-safe products, you can ensure your furry friend enjoys a fresh and clean resting place. Regular maintenance and cleaning will not only keep your dog happy but also contribute to a healthier living environment for both of you.
